Spanish Wedding

December 5, 2013. No comments.

I was lucky enough to be asked to do a wedding in Bilboa in Spain, i couldn’t possibly have turned this oppourtunity  down. So i flew out to Bilboa the night before the wedding on the 23rd September. On the morning of the wedding i headed to the Melia hotel where the bride and her mother and her 4 bridesmaids were getting ready. I had already done a trial with the bride Zara beforehand so already knew the makeup look she wanted. we went for a soft smoky grey eye, ardell false lashes with very nude lips and sculpted cheeks, i was very aware that due to the high temperatures i needed to make sure there makeup stayed on all day, so applied a MAC anti shine setting powder.

The location of the wedding was in a little church out at sea, but to get to the church meant climbing up over two hundred very steep uneven steps. so i had to bed ready for touch ups all day as the Bride and bridesmaids had to climb all the way to the top with temperatures in the early 30s.

The long climb to the church.

The long climb to the church.
