  Wedding hair and makeup  It’s been a very busy year for me and always feel bad I don’t get time to do enough blogs. This year I have worked in the Seychelles, run over ten makeup courses, worked on twelve weddings, some fantastic photo shoots and tv productions. Oh and I also squeezed in getting married myself!!  Having spent nearly twelve years in the wedding industry as a professional hair and makeup artist, i have seen so many kinds of weddings from from Churches, castles, Boats, Farms, barns, beaches and even a submarine. Every wedding has been different and of course every bride has been different but all of had their own magic to them. The past few years has been a lot of Boho weddings with natural glowy makeup and soft wavey hair and messy buns.  And in the last few months I have seen a switch to more structured hair [read on]

A look back at 2017

Firstly Happy new year to everyone! We have been a little quiet recently as things have been super busy. 2017 was an extremly busy year for us and 2018 is looking just as busy.. We completed over 28 weddings. Worked on several  Films,TV productions and Photoshoots. As well as many skin camouflage consultations. We also had our popular makeup courses running throughout the year. And we  set up a wedding, events and hen party venue in Bolney. I am so Grateful to my team of makeup artists and hair stylists that worked so hard on every job put their way. So it’s been a very long time since we did our last blog! It’s been so busy with our makeup courses at the makeup academy and a full on year of Wedding makeup and skin camouflage. Alice in wonderland shoot

A few weeks ago we did a photo shoot based on Alice in wonderland, we were called upon for our services by vintage eventsvintage events we had such a fun day, there was lots of vintage props and furniture, beautiful lampshades, crazy food supplied by the Jam queen Brighton. The setting was beautiful at vintage events HQ in Steyning West Sussex. The idea behind the shoot was to showcase all of our talents we offer at vintage events, from Parties, weddings, Hen Dos, vintage makeovers, furniture, prop hire and photography. The hair and makeup by discussed in advance and karon from vintage events want Bella our model to have a Helana Bonham carter style but still kept pretty and girlie. Its only March and have been so busy already! In January we ran our 6th Intensive makeup course, then i travelled to Dubai to do some filming for a short film, i then took two weeks off to go on a lovely holiday, since being back we have lots of brides booking in there wedding makeup even into 2016! I have also been busy with photo shoots, Headshot shoots and private makeup tutorials and working with a fantastic Brighton Photographer Rhatia Renee. Makeup for Summer Wedding in west Sussex

These images are off a wedding back in the summer of the lovely bride Alice. Alice's wedding was at www.bordehill.co.uk/‎ place in West Sussex. Alice was the most relaxed bride i have ever met, she was so chilled out throughout the morning getting ready. Alice's makeup was natural but with a soft smokey grey eyeshadow and a neutral pink lipstick. i also did Alice's mothers makeup, she worse a stunning navy dress so incorporated the navy into he eye makeup.     Fashion Editorial shoot set on Brighton beach. We were going for the model having a soft mermaid look. Coolture Magazine Makeup

The photoshoot in Brighton, Sussex for Coolture magazine went really well and I am very pleased with the quality of both the makeup job and also the photographer Ramses Radi whom captured the quality of my makeup job really well.
